What's the difference between the Classic Strider and the newer Sport? The Classic does not come with quick release clamps on the handlebars or seat - but an allen wrench is provided for easy adjustment as needed. The handlebars are also the prior standard size grips (not mini) and it does not have the padded handlebar attachment. The classic also just comes with the smaller seat and short post. The Sport comes with an extra seat and post for when your child outgrows the smaller seat length. Everything else, including quality assurance is the same.
